On Saturday, September 24th, Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer, Officers and Members of Construction & General Building Laborers Local 79, and MTDC Officials from New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) hosted an informational fair at Queensbridge Park in Long Island City to celebrate the success of the Construction Management/Build Program and recruit people interested in joining the labor union.

Council Member Van Bramer Secures Funding at PS 150 in Sunnyside

Council Member Van Bramer Helps Launch New Season of Chocolate Factory
On Wednesday, September 21st, Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer joined over 60 local supporters and artists throughout New York City to celebrate the fall lineup of the Chocolate Factory Theater in Long Island City. Van Bramer spoke at the opening night of the first show of the season “Shy Showoff.”
