Council Member Van Bramer Supports Senior and Youth Initiatives At Queensbridge
Van Bramer Secures $205,250 for senior and youth programs at Jacob Riis
On Monday, August 23rd Council Member Jimmy Van Bramer joined seniors at the Jacob Riis Senior Center for a barbeque feast at Queensbridge. With musical tunes playing in the background, seniors had the opportunity to enjoy a delicious barbeque meal and celebrate the continuation of funding for their free senior lunch program. Council Member Van Bramer was pleased to secure $205,250 for various youth and senior initiatives at Jacob Riis this year, including the expansion of youth programs at Jacob Riis, increasing the free senior meal program and facility upgrades.
